I began to realize how important it was t o be an enthosiast in life. If you are interested in something, no matter what is is, go at it full speed. Embrace it with both arms, hug it, love it and above all become passionate about it. Lukewarm is no good.

For as long as I can remember, this is how I have felt. I don’t like doing things half-heartedly.

I’ve always thought if anything is worth doing, it’s worth doing with passion and with fierce energy.

Of course, there are times when you feel that you don’t have the motivation or the energy to give it your all. That just means that you’re not passionate about what you’re doing.

There are dull, routine things in life that we have to get through and get done. And that’s completely understandable but, for everything else there should be a drive to want to do it well.

I have never treated a job as just another job. The day I started feeling that way, I realized that it was time to quit. I realized that if someone like me, who was so passionate about things that I do didn’t have it in me to work another day in that place, then it was definitely time to leave.

It doesn’t matter whether you think the job is a stepping stone to someplace else. If you can’t do it right and do it with passion, then you better look for something else in life.

The way I see it… we are given one life to make the most out of. Why would you want to spend it on doing something you don’t like. You’re doing yourself a disservice.

There’s a reason that Warren Buffett is 92 and still goes to work. In fact, he doesn’t just go to work, he tap dances to work. That’s the life we should all strive to live. A life of purpose, a life of motivation, a life of passion, and above all a life of happiness.
