It’s not rocket science… but, it’s often overlooked. A great way to find ideas for new content is by looking through the comments section.

Whether the comments are on your own posts or on other people’s posts, it’s always valuable content. I’m not saying you need to steal ideas. No way, that’s not nice.

What I am saying is, use those ideas to learn from them. Sometimes, people will ask you questions. Sometimes, they will rant about a problem. This good stuff. And while you can and should reply to the comments, a better way is to turn these into posts that solve the problem.

Your goal as a creator is provide value. One way to do that is through solving problems. What better way to find out than to see what the public has to say!

I’ve come to realize from the questions people ask me on Twitter or elsewhere, that there’s still a vast lack of basic knowledge about the financial markets. So I try to break them down and include them in future posts or my newsletter.

LinkedIn’s come up with a interesting feature where you can turn your comments into a separate.

I have to straight with you though, I haven’t used this feature as yet. I feel like it’s rude hijack someone else’s post comment and turn that into my post. But, it’s telling you do exactly what I’ve been saying.

Take ideas and turn them into posts. Help people, and you will be rewarded.
